Alper Services was named a Best Practices Agency by a leading trade group!
Alper Services has been named to an elite group of independent insurance agencies around the United States participating in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the “Big I”) “Best Practices” Study Group.
There are some 30,000 independent agencies throughout the U.S., more than 1,800 were nominated by a state association and/or an insurer and only 254 were awarded the Best Practices recognition. Nominations and evaluations were based upon outstanding customer retention, growth, stability and financial management. And Alper Services is one of only 40 in its size category nationally to be recognized.
The Best Practices Study was initiated in 1993 as the foundation for efforts to improve agency performance. The annual study of leading independent insurance agencies, which is conducted by Reagan Consulting of Atlanta, Ga., documents the business practices of these high performance agencies and urges others to adopt similar practices.
“Being named by one of the top insurance industry organizations shows that we have been doing more than a few things right over the last 50 years,” noted David Macknin, President & CEO of Alper Services. “As we constantly look to new ways of optimally serving our Clients, caring for our Team and growing our business, our Clients and People can be assured that we have the right tools and processes in place to protect them and help them grow.”
The Big I and Reagan Consulting jointly maintain the Best Practices Gateway website that provides executive summaries of the annual Best Practices Studies, the Best Practices Study Comparison Workbook tool and ordering information for Best Practices products. The Gateway, as well as the annual study, is made possible in part through the financial sponsorship of various insurance companies and industry organizations.
The 2016 Best Practices Study sponsors include: Agency Business Solutions and Amerisure, Applied Systems, Beyond Insurance, Central Insurance Companies, Chubb, CNA, EMC, ENCOMPASS, The Hanover, The Hartford, Imperial PFS, InsurBanc, Kemper, Liberty Mutual, MetLife, The Main Street America Group, Nationwide, Travelers, Vertafore and Westfield .
